SUPERSTUDIO: 3 LOCATIONS, 3 PROJECTS

If the Tortona area has become the beating heart of the Milanese "Fuori Salone" design week it is thanks to Superstudio which launched the event in 2001 by hosting, for the first time outside the Milan's Fair, the leading brands such as Cappellini and Via. Today Superstudio is in charge of promoting and leading everything that happens in the area: design, art, fashion... For the 2010 design week, it will present three independent, yet complementary, projects, developing on three different locations, the two historic venues of Superstudio and the disused and restored ex- Ansaldo factory, located right in front of the via Tortona center. 1-Temporary Museum for New Design - Superstudio Più - via Tortona 27. Top brands, renowned architects, international talents, museum concept. 52 exhibitors, 4 bars/restaurants. 10.000 square meters. Organized by Superstudio Group.
2-Innovation/Imagination - Face to Superstudio Più (former Ansaldo) - via Tortona 54. New location, new brands. A path between unusual, creative and cross products, between technology and imagination. Video-installation with interviews to 5 top designers. 30 exhibitors. 4.000 square meters. 1 café. Organized by Slide Events.
3-Home and Spa Design - Superstudio 13 - via Forcella 13/via Bugatti 10. The wellness world in 10 private areas. New exhibition concept: completely furnished bathrooms, spas, rooms, designed by 10 different architecture firms. Multi-brand and multi-sensory installations. 50 exhibitors. 2000 square meters. 1 restaurant, 1 lounge. Organized by My Exhibition.
