SUPERORTOPIU': WAITING FOR EXPO 2015

Michelangelo Pistoletto’s SuperOrtoPiù, opened in April on the Roof of Superstudio, created a green oasis and a lively cultural agorà with events, exhibitions and meetings, gradually enriching with contents and projects, also regarding the social. During these months, vegetables grown thanks to retired masters of garden, are still donated to poor families in the suburb of Barona by COAAS Association’s social promoters of Milan’s Zone 6. The initiative, created and coordinated by Lorenza Daverio, aims to be the starting point for a vast re-birth with the project “Coltivare la città” (“Grow the City”), spreading social gardens in the suburbs, in full harmony with the main topic of Expo 2015: “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.
