THE TAO AWARD 2016 GOES TO GISELLA BORIOLI

Back to Taormina. After having curated the artistic direction of Council of Fashion Designers Award, (RAI1 Tv prime time) in the early years of 2000, Gisella Borioli is back on stage of Taormina’s “Teatro Antico”, this time to receive the desired TAO Awards 2016 on 23rd July, price of Excellence as established Italian fashion and design personality.

The international event TaoModa, is organized by “Talenti & Dintorni” Association, and supported by The National Chamber for Italian Fashion, and Camera Italiana Buyer Moda that for three editions has been gathering top names from the world of fashion, design, journalism and also from show biz, culture, enterprise and science. The award was delivered by Brenda and Massimiliano Bizzi from White Show.

As a fashion journalist, Gisella Borioli has been in charge of some of the most prestigious trade magazines  (such as Lei, Glamour and Donna); as business woman, she founded Superstudio 13 and Superstudio Più, two cult locations in Milan for photography, communication and international events; Art exhibitions curator, TV show author, writer of fashion and trend books, up to the great success in design field as creator and director of the formats by Superstudio, Temporary Museum for New design and SuperDesign Show.
