Pills of Art, Dance, Music and Theatre presented by companies or single
artists. Conceived by Gaja Lucchini, the Premières are a Dance Point
exclusive that will be performed at Superstudio once a month, around
happy hour time, starting from January 25th. The first show is " Still
figure with life" by Giorgia Maretta, a performance of contemporary
dance inspired by one of Balthus' paintings, "Le Chat de La

FIRST MEN'S FASHION EVENT IN MILAN
The most awaited and bursting 2008 fashion event takes place at
Superstudio Più from January 14th until the 16th. It's White Homme, the
first event wholly dedicated to menswear in Milan. A revolutionary
project entirely based on the concept of image, with 40 high profiled
companies, large spaces without visual barriers, light design effects
and vintage furniture. During the same week, Superstudio Più holds also

A JEWEL CHRISTMAS TREE
Huge, built-in diamonds make glow this special Christmas Tree, the most
precious among the 101 realized by various artists for Christmas City
Park in Milan. "Frozen" and lunar, opalescent and shining, poetic and
magic, it has been on display at Nhow Art-Hotel in via Tortona 35
during Christmas holidays. This special tree was conceived by young
artist Gaja Lucchini, who created also the one covered with red spheres
now standing in front of the historical Hotel de Milan in via Manzoni.19/12/2007
EVENING RECEPTION WITH FIORELLO AND MIKE BONGIORNO
The well-known "odd couple" formed by Mike Bongiorno & Fiorello,
already seen in a famous Communications Company ad, was the surprise
protagonist of AEM Christmas Dinner, which gathered 800 people in the
huge Central Point. The gala soirée was also the right occasion for the
launching party of A2A, a brand new multiutility born from the merge of
AEM itself, operating in the area of Milan, and ASM, based in Brescia.

JACOPO FOGGINI'S FLAMES AND LIGHT TREE
During Christmas time, in front of MyOwnGallery entrance, we have the beautiful and symbolic Jacopo Foggini's Tree. The plastic shape, furnished by Slide, has been decorated and interpreted by this extraordinary designer with a draw of green and orange metacrylate lines. Two lights turn on the entire Tree into thousands of suggestive reflections.Foggini's Tree is one of the 101 "creative trees" that appears in Milan city streets and squares. As the patron of this Tree, MyOwnGallery is proud to show this art piece, one of the most original and creative ot the entire exhibition.
The Tree will remain there until January 5th, then on January 6th it will be shown with the others in the final exhibition at Largo Marinai D'Italia public garden.

CALLAS BETWEEN FASHION AND MYTH, PAST AND CONTEMPORARY
An exhibition dedicated to Maria Callas, without Maria Callas herself, but where she is actually everywhere. In other words, a tribute to this charming figure intended as a contemporary woman, a display of twenty-three haute couture dresses by 23 extraordinary fashion designers such as Prada, Ferré, Valentino, Gucci, Versace, Krizia, and many other among the most famous representatives of the so called "Made in Italy"."Divine! Maria Callas between Fashion and Myth" is an unusual exhibition, elegant and very fascinating the same way she was, an event curated by Gisella Borioli, who is also the art director, and based on the idea that today fashion could be the link with past culture. Each dress is presented in a different frame, a sort of "mise en scéne" that finely reminds Maria Callas' figure, with photos and video from the past, famous quotes, passages of great arias, images of the Diva and of her dearest places in Milan or elsewhere.
Produced by Comune di Milano and Camera della Moda, with the precious collaboration of Cristina Gastel, Luchino Visconti's niece and Maria Callas' intimate friend, for the scientific part of the project, Giulia Pirovano (Camera della Moda Director), Chiara Ferella Falda for her iconographical research and videos, Giuseppe Silvestrin for the scene concept, the exhibition takes at Museo di Storia Contemporanea in Milan (Via Sant'Andrea, 6). December 5th - January 20th.

DANY VESCOVI FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MYOWNGALLERY
Macro visions of flowers, fluorescent colours, harmonic and geometric
shapes. This is Dany Vescovi's fine art, on show from 29th November to
30th January 2008. In collaboration with Bonelli Comtemporary Art and
organised by Beatrice Buscaroli & Ivan Quaroni the exhibition
presents some new paintings and draws. For Dany Vescovi, flowers are a
big inspirational subject because of their shapes and colours. Radiant
or lonely flowers, bigger or fragmented, colourful or blurred, flowers
are always geometrically decorated but they still communicate harmony.
In recent years, Dany Vescovi, has always been painting flowers. His
subjects are a representation of Dead Nature but his deep desire is
to lead the viewer to find themselves into private reflections.

A LITTLE CAFE @ SUPERSTUDIO 13
A pretty, little Café is now opened inside Superstudio 13. Our aim is
to offer an additional service to all our costumers and co-workers
staying at the famous Studios in via Forcella 13.Run by the same team that for many years has succesfully managed Dada Café, Superstudio Più private restaurant, this brand new Bar is the first step of an overall improvement and enlargement programm Superstudio Group has planned for its locations.

Wrong rumors may generate serious problems. So more precise information is necessary. The closing down of the photographic studios INDUSTRIA SUPERSTUDIO (managed by Fabrizio Ferri in via Forcella 13) has been declared. This event has nothing to do with our group. SUPERSTUDIO 13, our adjoining studios directed by Danilo Pasqua, are completely independent and self-governing and go on with their activity enforcing it. SUPERSTUDIO GROUP (society founded by Lucchini/Borioli who own also the location SUPERSTUDIO PIU' in via Tortona 27) reaffirms that its photographic studios SUPERSTUDIO 13, located in via Forcella too, are not at all involved in the closing down of the nearby studios, rather they are soon organizing new activities.This press release tries to clarify all the rumors which are confounding the activity of both photographic studios, INDUSTRIA SUPERSTUDIO E SUPERSTUDIO 13, once joint in the same society, but independent and divided for the last twenty years.
