Sculpture Atelier After dedicating an entire life to fashion publishing, that has seen him founder and director of the most important women’s Italian magazines, from Fantasia created in 1960 to Amica in 1962, Vogue Italia and all the magazines of the group, till Donna and Mondo Uomo, not mentioning the minor magazine titles, since 1990 Flavio Lucchini dedicates himself to his ever lasting passion, sculpture. His works tell us about his story as main character in the fashion world, his love for beauty, his idea of a dress, not a mean for covering, but a mean to transcend. His artistic course has seen him going through the toy-sculptures period, a childish vision of fashion, then the totem, projects for big sculptures made of steel or glass-resin, and as last, the bas-reliefs, “archaeology of fashion”, candid witnesses of the today’s dress essence. Flavio Lucchini’s atelier, situated inside Superstudio Più, on Via Tortona, personal lab and gallery at the same time. |
