SWEET DOLLS: SWEETNESS IN THE WINDOW

Where does the fine line between creativity and art, between manual skills and vision begins and ends?
The window Sweet Dolls, set up in art.box in conjunction with the Taste of Milan, reveals this mystery.
Clarissa Negri, young and successful Milanese cake designer after the experience of wedding-planner, is characterized by her fresh and ironic style, inspired by cartoon and manga. An unsuspected analogy with the famous Dolls by the artist Flavio Lucchini, oversized dolls in coloured resin, with teenagers movements, to reflect on contemporary precocity.
In a reminder of shapes and colors, the small and sweet Clarissa’s Dolls seem miniatures of Lucchini’s sculptures and high relieves. Small works of art that are a pity to eat.
