It’s a trip back home for Flavio Lucchini, who left very young for Milan, before where he became art-director, inventor of many important fashion magazines (Amica, Vogue Italia, L’Uomo Vogue, Donna, Mondo Uomo, Moda etc.) and successful artist and after, at the same time founder and president of Superstudio Group. With a large corten steel sculpture, a tribute to fashion and its origins, Lucchini enters the court of honor of the Curtatone Municipality, where he was born, invited by the mayor Carlo Bottani who wanted to celebrate the famous citizen with his particular “obelisk”.

The countdown has begun: only a few days left until the Young Business Talents (YTB) on the 5th of May at Superstudio Più.
274 bright students from high schools and colleges of 15 Italian regions, from North to South, divided into 75 teams will enliven the finals of the competition, aimed to award and value the business genius of the young through the use of a simulator that allows young ones to make decisions inside a company.

OROBLU' meets Flavio Lucchini. For over thirty years, one of the most charismatic influencers in the world of Italian fashion and founder of Superstudio, FLAVIO LUCCHINI, explores the artistic aspect of women’s dress and feminine form, through a production of over two hundred contemporary, tactile, fresh and innovative art pieces,  as his work always has been.
Both being of mutual origin, during the Design Week 2017, OROBLU' chooses to express its values focusing on the pursuit of elegance, of material innovation and and femininity, oriented Design presenting one of Lucchini’s gold leaf dress totems: like a woman, a being to be adored, whose essence never age nor falls. A celebration of the feminine identity, crystalized in an art work.

Womenswear is under the spotlight at the new edition of White Milan, from 25th to 27th February. Organised by M. Seventy, this tradeshow of contemporary fashion focuses the attention on womenswear presenting 511 brands, of which 145 International players and 189 new entries that recount themselves through an itinerary exhibition at Superstudio Più and in the Tortona Fashion District.
Working on new trends, White explored right from the beginning, more than once, the Far East and North European countries, now focusing on East Europe. The attention to International avant-garde is reaffirmed, among the others, in the areas dedicated to China with Whiteast and to Belgium with a showroom area (Les Belges) in collaboration with Wallonie-Bruxelles design mode, pro-administration company; not to mention the Made in Italy project with “It’s time to contemporary artisan” that combines the fair and the “Confartigianato” under the “Miac-Moda” contemporary Italian handcraft, debuting White folies format that groups eight brands in the name of custom tailoring exclusivity.

The fair that totally changed the way of collecting contemporary art is back at Superstudio Più for its seventh edition.
With 85 International galleries, emerging and well-known artists, Affordable Art Fair brings to Milan the contemporary art’s latest trends, from art brut to kinetic art, from Street Art to photography - all of this under 6000 euro.
Special areas of the fair for every taste: Focus Photography for photography lovers, Young with under 40 artists and emerging galleries. The edition of WHITE MAN & WOMAN animates the Milan Fashion Week from January 14th to 16th at Superstudio Più and its neighbourough and is richer than last year’s with 270 brands participating (+18% compared to 2016), of which 197 are woman collections that will set the trends for the next season.
Among the must-see events of this edition, there is a special area that hosts the cult brand for ballerinas Repetto, a special project with Momonì and, for the first time in Milan, Suket Dhir, an Indian designer of menswear who won the Woolmark Prize Award 2016.
It is consolidated the collaboration with Ice and Confartigianato Imprese, to give an impulse to the development abroad of small fashion makers. The alliance, forged some editions ago and that will continue also in 2017 and 2018, has already translated itself in successful road shows abroad (Asia, Europe and Middle-East) to meet buyers and local press, as well as enhancing the incoming of foreign buyers at White.
Furthermore, White is also renovating its collaboration with Revolver, the analogous fashion show in Copenaghen, bringing a selection of selected Danish brands to Milan.

First rare editions, antique books, used but precious books, new issues, events, meetings with the authors, conferences and workshops, live music and photography. All this at “Salone della Cultura” first edition, on show on the 21st and 22nd January at Superstudio Più.

An ambitious and multicultural format originated from a combination of the world of used books and new ones in all its aspects: with no distinctions small and big publishers exhibit their new entries, meeting the readers and talking with the public and with collectors in search of the most precious and rarest books on the market. The “Salone della Cultura” introduces, within 10.000 sq.m at Superstudio Più, a wide schedule made not only of exhibiting space but also events, exhibitions, labs and workshops.

Don’t miss Prof. Franco Berrino’s, one of the most well-known  Italian oncologist in the world, Lectio Magistralis, the appointment with photography and design in 76 original shots by Elio Luxardo, brought from Fondazione 3M, and within Giancarlo lliprandi’s unforgettable sketches.
Among the workshops, the pop-up creation lab by the worldwide famous "paper engineering" master Dario Cestaro, is outstanding. And anyone dreaming of printing his/her own book should not miss the unique opportunity of a cooperation  with Tipografia Mediagraf and Xerox Italia S.p.a.
