White, red and… gourmet! We are referring to Pizza, a delight for all and Italy’s icon in the world. For everyone’s taste, saturday 7 and sunday 8 October at Superstudio Più for the second edition of “ChePizza!”an event that celebrates the world’s most famous Italian dish.
A whole weekend to taste and discover secrets and trends of pizza thanks to 16 pizza kings, some of the best in the world, that proporse 32 scrumptious versions of comfort food par excellence. Once again this year, in addition to the taste area, there will be 20 free masterclasses with the kings of pizza, and an area dedicated to the little ones who will learn, with the real thing, to prepare their favorite dish.

It will be the next Moscow Design Week special event, in October, the DRESS TOTEM exhibition by Flavio Lucchini, Chairman of Superstudio in the Altagamma gallery, invited to exhibit his art works that best illustrate the bond among art, fashion, design and architecture. The artist Lucchini comes from a long experience as an art director and creator of fashion magazines, who chose the obsession/admiration for the women dress as the base of his artistic research. The dress totems on show are small cor-ten steel, painted metal, brushed steel, rusted iron sculptures, meant to be developed on large scale and set into a landscape where influences of fashion, design masters teaching, and his background as architect are visible.

BEA 2017: THE EVENT'S EVENT IS HERE!

A little sophisticated exhibition of drawings by Fabrizio Sclavi, is back on show, where colorful ceramics and glasses by Ettore Sottsass float in calm and luminous water. Superstudio’s tribute to the great architect, an unforgettable friend of the Lucchini-Borioli couple, who often collaborated with their initiatives. At the same time, presentation of the biographical book of Fabrizio Sclavi, journalist, fashion expert, illustrator, and more memories. An initiative in line with the “Ettore Sottsass There is a Planet” project by Barbara Radice at the Triennale of Milan from 15 September until 11 March 2018.

Graceful Mediterranean fishes can be admired in all their glory highlighted with traditional techniques photographs by Maurizio Vezzoli, photographer who takes food images likewise artwork. Basses, gilthead bream and other delights can be tasted every day in simple dishes cooked by Superstudio Cafè’s chef. The new exhibition opens with a cocktail evening on 4th October. Whereas the fish choice in the menu varies every week.

White has come a long way since its first edition at Superstudio Più in 2002, amazing for accuracy and taste by its founders Brenda and Max Bizzi in setting up the exhibition, inventing the first concept of creative fair. Over the years, White has grown up so much in prestige research and quality to become the world’s most important contemporary fashion fair, reaching in 2017, 500 exhibitors in the three via tortona adjacent locations, adding at the end of the year a new location using various spaces in the courtyard of number 31, and one more day than the usual timing. Also Tomorrow, the inspired multiservice format, created by Stefano Martinetto, located in the three fashion capitals Milan, Paris, London and New York, is growing in success, combining important showrooms in an exhibition devoted to fashion and trendy accessories, held at Superstudio 13 from 22nd to 25th September, before flying to Paris for French fashion week in Rue de Lappe spaces.

Think Digital is the event organized by GroupM and The European House Ambrosetti at Superstudio Più to reflect about the impact that digital revolution and technology have on our daily life and to understand how bigger companies take the challenge of communication. The fashion show that revolutioned the way of making fashion fairs couldn’t help but flourish at Superstudio (2002), the location that has always supported and launched new successful formats. Research, innovation, International brands, special events and thematic exhibitions, talents scouting, a tour of fashion shows and presentations around the world, a strong integrated communication: these are the key ingredients of White’s increasing success. Massimiliano Bizzi, founder and president, will tell us about the upcoming edition.

WHITE MAN & WOMAN is back on stage at Superstudio Più, the contemporary fashion fair that with 300 brands continues, also in June edition (from 17 to 19) to invest on experimentation through a pioneering formula, to present both men and women collections.
Women preview’s special guest is NEHERA a Slovakian brand that made womenswear history in East Europe.
Once again, in the name of innovation is the REVOLVER area, Danish fair that will bring 40 brands in representation of Scandinavian fashion.
A bit of Korean will be spoken, with a showcase of labels in the Asian country with the new collaboration of Tomorrow London showroom.
For those in search of more experimental design, the BASEMENT, bridge area between avant-garde and contemporary design, is the point of reference with brands such as ANNTIAN that chose to recount aesthetic stories through sustainability and the use of ecological fibers.
This time, among special exhibitions “tradition, value, beautiful” Albini Group takes the centre stage. The textile group, among leaders of textiles for shirts, involved famous and emerging designers so that they can express themselves on the theme of white shirt.
