New arrival at Superstudio Più: the Mandarina Duck Maison opens here its new headquarter.

The historical accessories brand chose to focus in its new location the use of style, communication and marketing in a space over 600sqm.

Its a new changing year for Mandarina Duck that arrives in Milan with a wide image relaunching strategy within the international distribution chain of fashion buyer and design.

The official opening launch is getting closer with the presentation in January of the collection FW14.

An unforgettable evening, by all: at Superstudio 13, opened in 1983, great center of photography studios and services for the fashion where is  passed all the ghota of the photography and the international fashion, we saw many friends old and new, great names and a lot of young people. Happy to enjoy  the videos of Oliviero Toscani and Giovanni Gastel, the shooting of the young Rocco Toscani and Matteo Gastel,  the exhibition of the 12 Masters for S.Michele on the Panaro, with Martina Colombari, the longest wall of Afip representing hundred photographers who received them outside, the sound of Saturnino, the murales for the 30 years realized by Flavio Lucchini, still work-in-progress to be able to contain most possible of the 1200 photographers passed in the years to the Superstudio. In the night of 12 December 1,500 people  had champagne and panettone with us, 800 people have visited  studios and exhibitions in the week-end open door. Thanks to all!

MASKS Project for AIPI, Associazione Ipertensione Polmonare Italiana, the project by the photographer  Gianluigi Di Napoli presented this year at MIA Fair in MyOwnGallery makes its first appearance on Indie GoGo a leading fundraising organization.
The project MASKS 2014: 12 feminine icons such as Federica Pellegrini, Valeria Solarino, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, have posed dressed up as the most famous clown alive, David Larible.

The collected funds will allow the project to be carried on with a new edition, dedicated to the masculine world. In exchange of the donation, the MASKS 2014 calendar will be offered, limited edition works. and for greater donations, it is possible to become a clown for a portrait by Gianluigi Di Napoli with an exclusive make up, by David Larible.

Talking with colour, is colour predictable?

The myth of good Italian taste is the subject of the eighth edition of GOLOSARIA, prestigious exhibition of culture and taste, conceived by Paolo Massobrio e Marco Gatti.

Downtown Design Dubai, an exciting and promising start. Right from the start, the best Italian design with many international presences, has attracted  developers, buyers, architecture studios, and local institutions.

When does design approach art and the use of everyday object becomes worthy to enter the Museums?

This is the topic of the round table organized within the framework of the new Downtown Design fair in Dubai on November 1st. Among the guests Gisella Borioli, co-founder and creative director of Superstudio and Temporary Museum for New Design, "special guest" with an installation in Downtown Design (in the picture during the last edition).
The round table who sees the dialogue between different operators of culture and art, is chaired by Sandra Lane, a writer, a design expert and contributor to Art Fair Dubai.

Maddalena Sisto was an odd shy girl and had just finished Architecture school, when Flavio Lucchini and Gisella Borioli, founder of Superstudio,  at the time artistic director and managing director of Vogue Italia and other Condé Nast magazines, hired her, soon appreciating her unusual talent. Maddalena enjoyed writing with drawings and drawing with words.
An artist, illustrator, journalist, designer, spent many years with them with an impressive professional grow, and afterwards a unique extraordinary success. The movie directed by Anna Di Francisca, where Lucchini and Borioli brought their own recollection, tells the story of a gifted and kind woman, that should not be forgotten and that it is an invitation to all young people to live their own passion. "Il Mondo di Mad" is a movie that is worth watching.

Its Yoga time at Superstudio from 11th to 13th October. With many passion-driven followers, the eighth edition of  Yoga Festival is back in Milan, taking up almost 5000mq of the big spaces in via Tortona set up as practice rooms, labs, areas fro meeting schools,  photographic studios, music and much more.

This year's theme RESPIRA! is tought by 60 passionate involved teachers, who propose yoga exercise, meditations, breathing to do on your own, as a couple, or even with your own kids.

Opens the 28th edition of Todi Festival, a cultural-artistic festival that will animate the medieval town of Todi from 23rd August to 1st September. Amanda Sandrelli, Gabriel Garko, Ornella Muti, Claudia Pandolfi, Marco Bocci are just a few among the prestigious names who will perform on stage at the Umbro event.
